EU4Advice workshop at ISEKI Food Conference 2023
On July 4th, EU4Advice will host a session dedicated to short food supply chains and advisory services as a catalyzer to advance regenerative food systems, as a pre-conference workshop for the 7th International ISEKI-Food Conference (July 5-7 2023).
Workshop agenda:
- Smartchain: Insights on regional food system and lessons learned.
- EU Horizon Calls for SFSCs: EU4Advice & COREnet
- Strategic, tactical and practical advisory networks to build robust, regional, and regenerative food systems through the GAIN Model Transition
- EU4Advice & COREnet Results: Mapping of EU SFSC Advisors
- Interaction with participants: challenges that they faced when introducing SFSCs into their own region
- Master Living Lab in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area: Challenges and Opportunities in Activating SFSC Advisors within national and regional AKIS
- Practical case: Rollout Process in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area
- Q&A and closing of the session
The conference will take place at the University of Paris-Saclay, AgroParisTech in Paris, France.
The theme of the conference is: ‘Next-Generation of Food Research, Education and Industry’.
The ISEKI-Food 2023 will focus on future challenges in education on food science and technology, in research activities related to production, processing, quality and safety, packaging of foods and in societal engagements in the field. The conference is dedicated to scientists, engineers, and students from universities all around the world as well as the food industry, thus helping bridging universities, research and industry. It provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, establish business or research relations, and find global partners for future collaborations.
